The method varies by browser. You don't need a code to view someone's hidden top friends, however, you do need to be able to read code.
View the course code for the profile page. (In Internet Explorer 7, "View Source" is found under the "Page" icon on what passed for a menu bar.)
Search for the source code for "FriendRepeater", which will be found in the "id" attribute of the "a" tag. In the "href" attribute will be the URL of the profile page of one of hidden top friends. Following the "a" tag will either be the screen name of the hidden friend or the "img" tag, of which the "src" attribute will contain the URL of the picture of the hidden friend.
Continue finding the next occurance of the text "FriendRepeater" to continue finding hidden friends in the source code.
